This is a true corset.  It runs smaller because it does not stretch. If uncertain order the larger size.  The lace up back can be ajusted to give you the perfect fit.

As a general rule on this one - measure you largest measurement in the waist, and add 5, order that size.  Ex.  waist is 32 inches + 5 = 37 inches - I would purchase a size 38 or 36. Corsets mostly can be loosened.
 
Size 36 - Can fit waist from 26 to 28 inches
Size 40 - Can fit waist from 31 to 34 inches 
Size  42 -Can fit waist from 34 to 36 inches
Size 44 - Can fit waist from 36 to 38 inches
